Residents in areas expecting rain should follow safety precautions to protect against storms, lightning, and strong winds.

Marine Conditions: Caution for Fishermen

In its daily marine report, the center forecasts calm seas along the coasts of Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and the western coasts. The waters off Hadramaut will be slightly to moderately choppy, while the coasts of Al-Mahra will experience moderate waves. The sea conditions in the Red Sea will remain calm, while the Gulf of Aden will see light to moderate waves. However, the Arabian Sea may experience moderate to rough conditions.

The center warns fishermen and sea-goers around the Socotra Archipelago and the Arabian Sea, as well as the eastern Gulf of Aden, to be cautious due to active winds and rough seas.
