The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center predicts continued hot and humid weather in coastal areas and their surroundings. On Wednesday, the forecast includes partly cloudy skies with a chance of scattered rain in the Al-Mahra and Socotra governorates. Moderate winds will pick up along the eastern coasts, while stronger winds are expected in the Socotra Archipelago.
According to the daily weather report, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous regions will also experience partly cloudy conditions. There is a possibility of scattered thunderstorms in parts of the western and northwestern highlands. Meanwhile, the desert and plateau areas will remain dry, with partly cloudy skies and extremely high temperatures exceeding 40 degrees Celsius. Winds in these regions will be moderate to active, stirring up dust and sand.

The center urges citizens in desert and coastal areas to take precautions against extreme heat and prolonged exposure to sunlight. Residents in coastal regions should be aware of the humid conditions and take necessary precautions. Additionally, those in areas expecting thunderstorms should remain vigilant and take measures to avoid potential hazards.
In its daily marine report, the Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center anticipates calm seas along the coasts of Shabwa, Abyan, and Aden. However, the waters off Hadramout and the western coasts will see light to moderate waves. The seas around Al-Mahra and Bab al-Mandab will experience moderate waves, while the Socotra Archipelago will face rough to very rough conditions.
The center also warns ship captains, fishermen, and sea-goers in the Socotra Archipelago and regional waters of the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden about rough seas, high waves, and strong winds. Fishermen along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Abyan, Aden, Lahij, Bab al-Mandab, and the island of Mayyun should remain cautious due to strong winds and turbulent sea conditions.
