### Project Masam Safely Destroys War Remnants in Yemen

The Masam Project for Mine Clearance in Yemen successfully conducted a safe destruction operation of 6,021 pieces of mines, munitions, and war remnants in the Bab al-Mandab area of Taiz Governorate. This operation is part of Masam’s ongoing efforts to clear contaminated areas and protect civilians.

### Details of the Destroyed Materials

According to a statement from the project’s media office, the operation included the following items:

– 98 assorted shells
– 2,778 assorted munitions
– 16 anti-personnel mines
– 34 anti-tank mines
– 64 hand grenades
– 4 Katyusha rockets
– 17 explosive devices
– 2,982 assorted fuses
– 12 artillery shells
– 16 RPG warheads

### Efforts to Protect Civilians

Engineer Adib Rajab, the leader of the second special tasks team at Masam, stated that these remnants were collected from various areas along the western coast. He emphasized that their disposal contributes to the safety of civilians, particularly children, farmers, and herders, while making the regions safer for residents.
