On Tuesday, the armed forces successfully repelled offensive attempts by Iranian-backed Houthi militias across multiple fronts in Marib province. They responded effectively to hostile fire from various locations, demonstrating their readiness and tactical prowess.
According to military sources reported by September Net, the armed forces thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt in the Madghal sector, located north of Marib. Troops detected Houthi movements and targeted them with precise fire, forcing the militants to retreat. Additionally, the forces disabled a Houthi armored vehicle and injured four militia members during the confrontation.
In the Al-Kasara front, the armed forces executed a precise strike against Houthi sniper positions, effectively neutralizing the threat. Meanwhile, in the western front, troops retaliated against militia attacks using Katyusha rockets and drone-launched explosives in the Al-Mashjah and Al-Zour sectors, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
The southern front also witnessed a similar escalation. Armed forces responded to Houthi assaults with appropriate weaponry, targeting militia positions in the Al-Ayref and Al-Gharqat sectors. This counterattack resulted in casualties among Houthi fighters and the destruction of a bulldozer used for constructing fortifications.
In the Balq sector, the armed forces engaged Houthi artillery positions with precision strikes. Reconnaissance teams monitored militia movements and their efforts to establish new fortifications across several fronts, indicating ongoing preparations for further assaults.
The armed forces’ decisive actions in Marib highlight their commitment to maintaining security and stability in the region. By effectively countering Houthi aggression, they continue to protect the local population and thwart attempts to destabilize the area.
