Leaks suggest that prices for the Galaxy S27 series may increase significantly.

Story Highlights
  • Samsung plans to raise prices for all Galaxy S27 series models at launch.
  • Price increases may range from 100,000 to 130,000 won in the Korean market.
  • Higher storage models, such as 512GB and 1TB, may see larger price hikes.
  • Final prices remain unofficial, with Samsung yet to announce confirmed figures.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Price Increases Expected

New leaks indicate that Samsung plans to raise prices for all models in the Galaxy S27 series upon its launch in early 2027. The increase will be more significant for versions with higher storage capacities.

According to the Korean leaker yeux1122 (Lanzuk), the basic price increase in the Korean market may range from 100,000 to 130,000 won (approximately 74 to 96 dollars). Samsung is also considering larger increases for the 512GB and 1TB versions.

Reasons Behind the Storage Price Increase

These leaks connect the price hikes to rising costs of NAND Flash chips and the new LPDDR6 memory, which will reportedly only be available in the Pro and Ultra models of the series. The global memory component market faces increasing pressure, prompting companies to pass some costs onto consumers.

Will the Galaxy S27 Exceed 950 Dollars?

The Galaxy S26 series already experienced a price increase, with the base model rising to 900 dollars. Based on this trend, it seems realistic that the base price for the Galaxy S27 could exceed 950 dollars if the leaks prove accurate.

Additionally, other reports suggest that the price of the Galaxy S27 Ultra in Korea may rise by approximately 104 dollars due to increased memory and processor costs.

No Official Prices Announced Yet

As of now, Samsung has not announced final prices, and all circulating figures remain unofficial leaks. The series is expected to launch in early 2027, with storage capacity likely playing a crucial role in determining the final price.
