Leadership Council Head and Member Osman Majali perform Friday prayers with worshippers in Al Mukalla city.

In a significant display of unity and leadership, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with council member Sheikh Osman Majali and several state officials, participated in the Friday prayers among a large congregation in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout province.

During the service, the President of the Presidential Leadership Council witnessed two sermons delivered by Sheikh Saleh Omar Al-Sharafi, the preacher at the Omar Mosque in Mukalla. The sermons emphasized the importance of national unity, rejecting division and discord for the sake of pleasing God and benefiting the citizens’ interests.

Sheikh Al-Sharafi urged the congregation to prioritize the unity of the community above all else as a means to combat racism, regionalism, sectarianism, and all forms of rebellion and fragmentation. He highlighted that “holding firmly to the rope of Allah, uniting the word, and healing the rift are among the most obligatory duties, especially during times of trials, calamities, and the seditions ignited by the Houthi militias with support from the Iranian regime.”

The Friday sermon praised the role of the Saudi-led Arab coalition, including the United Arab Emirates, in countering the Iranian project that threatens Yemen and the Arab nation. It called for rallying around the state leadership, offering advice, and urging necessary measures to protect the national currency, achieve economic recovery, improve services, grant Hadramout its full rights, alleviate the suffering of its people, and the Yemeni population at large.

This event underscores the ongoing efforts to foster unity, address economic challenges, and stand firm against external threats to Yemen’s sovereignty and stability.
