Gold prices have risen for the fourth straight session, reaching their highest level in seven weeks. This increase comes as the dollar weakens and U.S. Treasury yields decline, according to data published in Al-Madina newspaper.
In spot trading, gold climbed 1% to $4,285.69 per ounce, marking its highest price since June 18. The previous session saw the precious metal achieve its largest daily gain since February. Meanwhile, U.S. gold futures rose by 0.9%, reaching $4,345.50.
The dollar index faced pressure, and the yield on 10-year U.S. Treasury bonds fell. This decline makes dollar-denominated commodities more affordable for holders of other currencies.
The rise in gold and other precious metals reflects ongoing market dynamics influenced by currency fluctuations and investor sentiment.
