Foreign Minister receives credentials from Zambian Ambassador.

Yemen and Zambia Strengthen Diplomatic Ties

In a significant move towards bolstering bilateral relations, Dr. Shaia Al-Zindani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs of Yemen, received the credentials of Duncan Mulima, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Zambia to Yemen, on Sunday.

Commitment to Mutual Interests

Minister Al-Zindani expressed the ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary support to achieve the common interests between the two nations. He wished Ambassador Mulima success in his new role, highlighting the importance of enhancing communication and opening channels for bilateral cooperation. Al-Zindani looks forward to continuing work, coordination, and consultation at all levels in international forums.

Zambia’s Keen Interest in Strengthening Relations

On his part, Ambassador Mulima affirmed Zambia’s keenness to develop relations with Yemen, especially in trade and economic sectors, and to strengthen the bonds of friendship. He praised the role of Yemeni businessmen in Zambia, indicating a promising future for commercial and economic collaboration between the two countries.

A Meeting of Minds

The meeting, which marks a pivotal point in the diplomatic relations between Yemen and Zambia, was also attended by Ambassador Abdul Qader Hadi, Head of the Minister of Foreign Affairs’ Office. This gathering underscores both countries’ dedication to fostering stronger ties and exploring avenues for mutual benefit.

The gesture of exchanging credentials is not just a formality but a symbol of the willingness and eagerness of both nations to embark on a journey of shared prosperity and understanding. As Yemen and Zambia navigate the complexities of international relations, this event is a beacon of hope for fruitful cooperation and lasting friendship.
