Yemeni Prime Minister Attends Condolence Gathering for Central Bank Official

Aden Mourns the Loss of a Renowned Economic Figure

In a solemn event on Friday evening, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the Prime Minister of Yemen, attended a condolence gathering in the temporary capital, Aden. The gathering mourned the passing of Khalid Ibrahim Zakaria, a respected member of the Yemeni Central Bank’s board of directors. Zakaria’s death marks the loss of a distinguished figure who dedicated his life to serving the nation through his commendable contributions to the economic and banking sectors.

Prime Minister Extends Heartfelt Condolences

During the gathering, Prime Minister bin Mubarak expressed his deepest sympathies to the deceased’s family and relatives, acknowledging Zakaria as one of the nation’s most dedicated economic and administrative talents. He praised Zakaria’s loyalty to the state’s values and the rule of law. The Prime Minister also prayed for divine mercy and forgiveness for the departed soul, hoping that Zakaria would find peace in the hereafter. He wished patience and solace for the bereaved family and all who cherished Zakaria.

The condolence event saw the participation of notable figures, including Anis Baharitha, the Director of the Prime Minister’s Office, and Ambassador Mujib Osman, an advisor to the Prime Minister.
