On Thursday, Tarik Saleh, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Heidi Bohnsen, Norway’s envoy to Yemen. The two discussed recent developments in Yemen, as well as the bilateral relations between Yemen and Norway, focusing on ways to strengthen these ties.
During the meeting, which also included Kirsti Tromsdal, Norway’s non-resident ambassador to Yemen, Saleh highlighted the latest developments in the region. He emphasized the ongoing regional and international efforts aimed at stabilizing Yemen, particularly the significant role played by Saudi Arabia in supporting peace and stability.
Tarik Saleh expressed appreciation for Norway’s humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of Yemeni citizens. He recognized the importance of international support in addressing the challenges faced by the population.
In response, Bohnsen reaffirmed Norway’s commitment to supporting Yemen’s legitimacy and contributing to the country’s stability. She emphasized her country’s dedication to working alongside Yemen to foster peace and development.
