Sheikh Othman Majali Praises Joint Forces' Efforts

Sheikh Othman Majali, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, commended the significant efforts made by the leadership of the Joint Forces. His acknowledgment comes under the support and guidance of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, alongside Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman.

Visit to Joint Forces Headquarters

Majali expressed his appreciation during a visit to the Joint Forces headquarters in Riyadh. He was accompanied by Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari and Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Saghir bin Aziz. They received a warm welcome from the Commander of the Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulaman.

Discussions on Yemen’s Stability and Security

During the meeting, the attendees discussed various topics of mutual interest. They reviewed the latest developments in Yemen and strategies to promote peace. Furthermore, they explored ways to support the Yemeni armed forces in fulfilling their duties, which include maintaining security, stabilizing liberated areas, combating terrorist organizations, and steering the Yemeni populace away from the scourge of terrorism toward development and reconstruction.

Recognition of Sacrifices Made

Majali emphasized the profound sacrifices made by the Saudi-led Coalition in support of legitimacy in Yemen, highlighting the active participation of the United Arab Emirates. He noted that these sacrifices earn the gratitude of both the Yemeni leadership and its people. He stated that these efforts would remain etched in the annals of modern history as a testament to brotherhood, shared support, and a collective destiny, all in response to the call for constitutional legitimacy and the protection of international navigation from terrorism.

Commitment to Security in Liberated Areas

In response, Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Sulaman reiterated the commitment of the Joint Forces to bolster the Yemeni army’s efforts in establishing security and stability in liberated regions. He emphasized that these efforts would ultimately benefit the citizens living in those areas.

Attendance of Key Military Leaders

The meeting also included the presence of Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces, Major General Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, along with several leaders from the Joint Forces Coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen.

This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of regional powers to restore peace and stability in Yemen, fostering a secure environment for its citizens.
