On Tuesday, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrimi, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, held an extensive meeting with a group of prominent journalists and media professionals from southern provinces. The gathering included staff from the “South Today” channel and aimed to discuss recent developments in the local scene and prioritize the media’s role in the current phase.
Al-Mahrimi opened the meeting by welcoming attendees and congratulating them on the holy month. He emphasized their crucial role in shaping public awareness and safeguarding the truth. In this context, Al-Mahrimi praised Saudi Arabia’s pivotal role in facilitating a fair resolution to the southern issue through an inclusive southern dialogue. The council member reviewed ongoing efforts to stabilize the situation and ensure the regular disbursement of salaries in Aden and liberated provinces. He reiterated the commitment to unify security and military decisions within an institutional framework that enhances discipline and maintains stability.
Al-Mahrimi listened attentively to various questions and comments from journalists, which addressed political and service-related issues.
