Residents of the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southwest Gaza experienced tragedy as an Israeli airstrike targeted a home. Local sources confirmed that several citizens lost their lives, while many others sustained injuries from the attack.
The airstrike struck a residence belonging to the Abu al-Ouf family, prompting urgent calls for ambulances to rush to the scene. Eyewitnesses described chaos as emergency responders worked to assist the injured.
The government media office in Gaza condemned the Israeli military’s actions, alleging the use of internationally banned weapons. According to their statement, Israeli forces indiscriminately dropped explosives from fighter jets and tanks. They reported that explosive barrels were planted among civilian homes and detonated remotely, disregarding legal and humanitarian considerations.
The media office claimed that the Israeli military employed highly destructive missiles against Palestinian homes, resulting in devastation beyond human comprehension. Over the past 48 hours, the military reportedly committed multiple massacres in the New Camp area and its surroundings in Al-Nuseirat, leading to more than 40 fatalities and numerous injuries, including many children and women.
The military’s actions have severely impacted the local population. Reports indicate that the Israeli forces destroyed 254 housing units in Al-Nuseirat within the last two days. The ongoing violence continues to escalate the humanitarian crisis in the region.
