President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, head of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a congratulatory message to President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of the Federal Republic of Germany on the occasion of German Unity Day.
In his message, President Alimi, on behalf of the council members, the government, and the Yemeni people, expressed heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to President Steinmeier for good health and happiness. He also wished for progress and prosperity for the government and people of Germany, emphasizing the desire for further development and growth in the bilateral relations between the two friendly nations.
Additionally, President Alimi praised the Federal Republic of Germany for its support of the Yemeni people and their legitimate leadership. He acknowledged Germany’s backing of the Yemeni aspirations to restore state institutions, establish security and stability, achieve peace, and end the Houthi terrorist coup supported by the Iranian regime.
