In recent hours, the Yemeni army successfully thwarted hostile operations by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia in the Marib governorate, specifically in the Al-Kasara, Al-Mashjah, and Madghal sectors.
According to military sources reported by September Net, the Houthi militia employed artillery, Katyusha rockets, and snipers during their attacks. This aggressive strategy resulted in injuries to four soldiers from the Yemeni army. In response, army forces effectively targeted the sources of enemy fire, demonstrating their commitment to protecting their positions.
In the Al-Falijah sector, the Yemeni army successfully struck a militia combat vehicle that the Houthis had used to target army positions. This operation not only disabled the vehicle but also silenced the enemy’s firing points, showcasing the army’s tactical prowess.
Additionally, the army targeted a Houthi position in the Raghwan sector as a direct response to ongoing hostile actions. This precise strike resulted in injuries to three militia members and the destruction of the enemy’s firing source, further weakening their operational capabilities.
The recent military actions highlight the ongoing conflict in Yemen and the Yemeni army’s determination to counteract Houthi aggression. As the situation evolves, the army remains vigilant in defending its territory and personnel against these persistent threats.
