Arab Parliament Condemns Ongoing Israeli Massacres
The Arab Parliament has vehemently condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the unarmed Palestinian people. The latest massacre in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip resulted in the death and injury of over 120 civilians, predominantly children and women. The intensity of the occupation’s missile attacks has been so severe that entire families have been buried underground.
The Parliament stated that the continuation of these massacres, acts of genocide, and ethnic cleansing by the occupation against the Palestinian people is a blatant defiance of international resolutions and laws, particularly international humanitarian law. It also contradicts all human values, ethical principles, and the fundamental human right to life, undermining efforts for ceasefire negotiations to end the aggression.
The Arab Parliament emphasized that the occupation’s impunity and lack of accountability encourage further crimes and massacres against innocent civilians. It holds the international community, the Security Council, and the U.S. administration fully responsible for these massacres, which occur daily under the watch of the world and amidst a shameful international silence.
Furthermore, the Parliament has called on the international community, the Security Council, and influential countries to fulfill their responsibilities and pressure the brutal occupation to halt its genocidal war and heinous massacres against Palestinian civilians. It demands accountability for those responsible for these atrocities as war criminals, protection for Palestinian civilians, and the swift provision of humanitarian and medical aid to Gaza to alleviate the famine and dire conditions in the territory.
