The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has signed a cooperation agreement with the Charity Association for Orphan Care in the Eastern Province, known as “Benaa,” to implement an urgent response project for Yemeni refugees in the Republic of Djibouti for the year 2026.
The agreement was signed by the Assistant Supervisor General of the Center for Operations and Programs, Engineer Ahmed Al-Bayez, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Association, Dr. Abdullah Al-Khalidi.
The project includes the distribution of 2,000 shelter bags, 2,000 tents, and 10,000 food baskets. Its primary aim is to enhance food security and shelter for Yemeni refugees in Djibouti, especially in light of recent events in Yemen. The initiative seeks to alleviate the living burdens on refugee families and improve their shelter conditions.
Approximately 70,000 Yemeni refugees will benefit from this project. This effort aligns with humanitarian goals to provide essential needs and support the most vulnerable groups.
This agreement extends the humanitarian and relief efforts undertaken by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center. The Center aims to improve the quality of life and secure dignified living conditions for refugees and affected individuals across various countries.
