Aden Celebrates Children with a Day of Fun and Awareness

In a vibrant display of community and care, the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Aden hosted an Open Day for Children, drawing wide participation from associations and institutions dedicated to child welfare, supported by UNICEF. This event underscores the city’s commitment to nurturing the well-being and rights of its youngest residents.

A Day Packed with Activities

The Open Day featured an array of activities tailored for children, including theatrical performances, art workshops, recreational games, and segments of singing and folk dancing performed by the participating children. This diverse lineup of events provided not only entertainment but also educational value, emphasizing the importance of creative and physical activities in child development.

Dr. Mohamed Hamoud, the General Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Aden, highlighted the significance of the Open Day for Children as part of the annual activities and programs aimed at spotlighting child care and protection. The celebration was attended by key figures, including Essam Wadi, the Director of Associations, Federations, and Cooperatives at the Social Affairs and Labor Office in Aden, and Um Al-Khair Abdullah, the Protection Projects Coordinator and Director of Social Defense Administration, along with representatives from UNICEF.
