A committee from the Ministry of Interior, led by Major General Abdul Majid Al-Amri, the Undersecretary for Civil Services, conducted an assessment today of the security situation in Marib Province. The meeting aimed to identify challenges and obstacles affecting operational efficiency and to explore solutions that could enhance security stability in the region.

During the meeting, which included the presence of Major General Dr. Mohammed Baharoun, Undersecretary of the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority, the committee listened to a briefing from Major General Yahya Ali Hamid, the Director General of Marib Police. He provided an overview of the efforts made by security agencies in the province, detailing the level of discipline in service sectors and the primary challenges hindering security operations. Evaluation of Civil Registry Services
The committee also evaluated the operational discipline and workflow at the Civil Status and Civil Registry Authority branch in Marib. They engaged with Colonel Mohammed Abdul-Rabe Majidi, the branch director, to discuss the services available to citizens, including the issuance of identification documents and other civil records. The committee reviewed achievements related to the smart electronic card project, as well as successes and shortcomings in service delivery across branches and centers in the province. They also assessed the readiness to launch the electronic civil registry system.
