Military Delegation Visits Fifth Military Region in Yemen

A military delegation led by Major General Khaled Al-Ashoul, the Chief of Operations, visited the Fifth Military Region in Hajjah Governorate, northwestern Yemen, today. This visit aims to enhance combat capabilities and improve readiness for national missions.

Meeting with Military Leaders

During the visit, the delegation held an extensive meeting with military unit leaders and local officials in the region. They received an operational briefing and a detailed report on the current situation at the front lines, including updates, combat plans, and the challenges facing the armed forces. The discussions also covered military preparations and the necessary resources to execute plans effectively.

Emphasizing Combat Readiness

Major General Al-Ashoul underscored the importance of the current phase for the armed forces. He emphasized that thorough preparation and heightened combat readiness are essential for reclaiming state institutions from the grip of the Houthi terrorist militias. He stated that these militias would only consider peace through comprehensive military action.

Acknowledging Heroic Efforts

Al-Ashoul praised the heroic role of the Fifth Military Region, noting that it has set a commendable example of resilience and confrontation. He highlighted that the military leadership recognizes the significant efforts made to counter Iranian-backed militias.

Brigadier General Yahya Al-Aizari, Director of War Operations, stressed the strategic and geographical significance of the Fifth Military Region. He called for unified efforts, solidarity, and enhanced combat readiness to ensure the achievement of national objectives.

Welcoming the Visit

Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Malahi, Chief of Operations for the Fifth Military Region, welcomed Major General Al-Ashoul and his accompanying delegation. He regarded the visit as a reflection of military leadership’s commitment to understanding the needs of combat units and closely monitoring human and operational readiness in the region.

This visit highlights the ongoing efforts to strengthen military capabilities and ensure the armed forces are prepared to face challenges effectively.
