The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has issued a weather forecast for Thursday, indicating that coastal areas and their surroundings will experience relatively dusty conditions. Daytime temperatures will be hot, while nights will remain moderate. Winds will blow steadily along the western and southern coasts, with stronger gusts expected on the eastern coasts and Socotra Archipelago, reaching speeds between 22 and 30 knots.
According to the daily weather report, which the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received, the mountainous regions will see cloudy to partly cloudy skies. There is a possibility of varying intensity thunderstorms in parts of the western highlands, as well as in the highlands and plateaus of Abyan and Shabwa. Additionally, desert and plateau areas will experience relatively dusty conditions, with hot daytime temperatures and moderate to active winds stirring up dust and sand.

The center warns citizens in areas expecting rainfall to avoid valleys and flood-prone areas during thunderstorms. The public is urged to take necessary precautions and follow guidelines to prevent heat-related illnesses.
In its daily marine report, the center predicts that the sea conditions along the western coasts will be calm. In the coasts of Abyan, Aden, and Bab al-Mandab, the waves will be light to moderate. The coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadramout, and Shabwa will experience moderate waves, while the Socotra Archipelago will face rough sea conditions. The sea in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea will be moderately wavy, while the Arabian Sea will be rough.
The center also warns fishermen, sea-goers, and ship captains around the Socotra Archipelago and eastern coasts of potential sea disturbances, high waves, and strong winds.
