Leadership Discussion on Current Affairs

Today, Abdulrahman Al-Mahrami, a member of the Presidential Leadership Council, met with Dr. Sha’if Al-Zandani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two leaders discussed the latest developments in Yemen and the ongoing efforts to normalize conditions and enhance basic services.

Focus on Political, Military, and Economic Issues

The meeting emphasized critical political, military, and economic issues. Al-Mahrami highlighted the importance of strengthening state authority and restoring institutional functionality. He stressed the need for a stable model in liberated provinces and called for empowering state agencies to perform their duties effectively.

Collaboration Among Government Institutions

Al-Mahrami underscored the necessity for collaboration among ministries and all state institutions. He urged a unified team spirit to tackle challenges and intensify efforts to meet citizens’ expectations for improved services, security, and stability.

Prime Minister’s Update on Government Initiatives

During the meeting, Prime Minister Al-Zandani reviewed the outcomes of recent Cabinet meetings held in the temporary capital, Aden. He assured that the government prioritizes the directives from the Presidential Leadership Council and is committed to translating them into clear, actionable plans based on efficiency, transparency, and measurable performance indicators.

Future Government Program Focus

Dr. Al-Zandani outlined the government’s upcoming program, which will concentrate on enhancing services, stabilizing the economy, and managing public resources. He emphasized the importance of timely salary payments for state employees, supporting the independence of the Central Bank, protecting the national currency, combating corruption, and activating oversight and accountability mechanisms.

This meeting marks a significant step towards addressing the pressing needs of the Yemeni people and fostering a more stable and prosperous future.
