He emphasized that the hospital serves as a model for modern healthcare institutions and appreciated the generous support from Saudi Arabia to Yemen, particularly in the health sector.

Al-Sabihi highlighted the specialized services offered by the Heart Center, including diagnostic and therapeutic catheterization and heart valve implantation via catheter. He also acknowledged the center’s capacity to perform complex surgeries for both adults and children, facilitated by qualified Yemeni and Arab professionals. Additionally, he praised the hospital’s transformation into an educational institution that contributes to the training of medical staff.
Following the meeting, Al-Sabihi toured various medical departments and patient rooms, observing the workflow and services provided to patients. He wished them a speedy recovery.
Al-Sabihi also visited former Lahij Governor Dr. Abdullah Bamturf, who is currently receiving medical care after undergoing heart stent surgery. He wished him continued health and well-being.
