Joint Executive and Judicial Meeting Held in Lahij

On Thursday, a significant joint executive and judicial meeting convened at the Lahij Court of Appeal. The meeting, chaired by Governor Ahmed Turki and Chief Judge Nagy Al-Yahri, aimed to discuss several key issues related to enhancing coordination between the executive and judicial branches in the province.

Key Participants and Objectives

The meeting gathered prominent figures, including Lahij Police Director Brigadier Nasser Al-Shuhati, Chief Prosecutor Abdul Hamid Jahrez, and Chief Judge of Al-Hawta Primary Court, Zikrayat Al-Masawi. Additionally, the directors of the Al-Hawta and Tuban districts, Sami Al-Jabli and Engineer Hoad Bagazi, respectively, participated alongside police officers Captain Awad Al-Shillin and Captain Abdul Karim Al-Hoshabi.

Governor Turki emphasized the importance of regular monthly meetings between the two branches. He stated that these gatherings would strengthen collaborative efforts to serve the public interest and expedite the resolution of cases pending in the courts, whether they involve government entities or citizens. He praised the significant efforts made by law enforcement agencies across the province.

Strengthening Judicial and Executive Relations

Chief Judge Al-Yahri highlighted the positive impact of fostering strong relationships between the executive and judicial branches. He noted that this cooperation aids in the enforcement of legal rulings and preserves their integrity. He also stressed the importance of reporting any judicial errors that may arise.

Collaboration Among Legal Entities

The Chief Prosecutor commended the existing collaboration between the prosecution and both the executive and security authorities. He pointed out that this partnership facilitates the effective resolution of various cases. The flexibility in addressing legal matters has proven beneficial in expediting processes.

Support for Judicial Security

Chief Judge Al-Masawi of Al-Hawta Primary Court remarked on the interdependence of all public state facilities. She called for increased support for the court by providing adequate security personnel to maintain its integrity and address any unforeseen incidents.

Police Department’s Commitment

Brigadier Al-Shuhati outlined the significant capabilities of the security sector, which operates under modest resources to ensure the safety and stability of the province’s residents. His remarks underscored the commitment of law enforcement to protect the community effectively.

In summary, the meeting in Lahij marked a crucial step toward improving the coordination between the executive and judicial branches, ultimately aiming to enhance the legal framework and public service in the province.
