This event will occur in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The meeting included Dr. Nizar Bashihab, the Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, along with representatives from the Ministries of Agriculture and Fisheries, and Planning and International Cooperation. Participants reviewed the responsibilities assigned to various stakeholders in preparation for the conference. They also discussed coordination mechanisms with relevant international organizations and funding bodies.

Agenda and Requirements

The agenda for the conference was a significant topic of discussion. Participants examined the technical and procedural requirements essential for ensuring the success of this critical international event.

Minister’s Emphasis on Real Challenges

Minister Al-Saqtri stressed the importance of focusing on real challenges facing Yemen’s food security in the proposals and working papers to be presented.
