A Meeting with Key Military Leaders
Today, Abdulrahman Sheikh, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, met with a delegation from the Joint Forces supporting legitimacy, led by Major General Falah Al-Shahrani. The primary focus of their discussion was the plan to relocate military camps outside the temporary capital of Aden.
Implementation Strategies for Camp Relocation
The meeting included Major General Ahmed Al-Basri, Deputy Chief of Staff, along with several military and security leaders. They explored the execution mechanisms for moving military camps out of the city and repositioning them in agreed-upon locations. Authorities will announce these locations later, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the civilian character of Aden and establish security and stability.
Three-Phase Plan for Relocation
The attendees outlined a three-phase plan for the relocation process. This plan includes clear steps and mechanisms to ensure the achievement of security and organizational goals. It also considers the unique needs of the temporary capital, addressing its service and developmental requirements.
