On Saturday, the city of Taiz witnessed a large-scale public festival celebrating the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution. This significant event drew tens of thousands of residents to Jamal Street in the heart of Taiz, as organized by the Supreme Council of Resistance and various political and social groups in the province.
During the event, local leaders from the government, political factions, and military and security forces delivered speeches emphasizing the critical role of the September Revolution in establishing a republican system and dismantling the old imamate regime. They also condemned the violations committed by the Houthi militia against celebrants in areas under their control.
Attendees raised banners honoring the September Revolution and its heroes, urging continued efforts to liberate the country from Houthi control. They called on the Presidential Council to provide necessary support to the National Army and popular resistance forces to complete the liberation of Taiz and all Yemeni territory.
The crowd stressed the importance of national unity and collaboration in confronting the new imamate threat represented by the Houthi militia. This event forms part of a series of celebrations across the province commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the September 26 Revolution.
The festivities in Taiz reflect a broader movement within the region to honor the legacy of the September Revolution and reinforce the commitment to national sovereignty and independence.
