A citizen was injured by a landmine explosion left by Houthi militia in Al-Mokha.

A civilian sustained multiple injuries today following an explosion caused by a landmine left behind by the Iran-backed Houthi militia in Al-Mokha, located in the western part of Taiz Governorate.

Incident Details

According to local sources reported by the September Net news site, the explosion occurred while a tractor driver named Mohammed Ahmed Al-Darboush was working in a farm in the “Al-Rama” area, north of Al-Mokha. The blast resulted in several injuries, prompting immediate medical attention. Al-Darboush was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

The Houthi militia has planted hundreds of thousands of landmines and explosive devices in residential areas and public roads across various regions and cities in Yemen.
