145 retirees from technical education and vocational training in Seiyun were honored.

The Technical Education and Vocational Training Ministry’s Office in Wadi Hadhramaut and the Desert, in coordination with the office’s union committee, honored 145 retired staff members who have served since 1980. The ceremony was held under the theme “Loyalty to the Loyal Ones” today.

Amer Said Al-Ameri, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for the Valley and Desert Directorates, highlighted the significance of these personnel who have dedicated their lives to the advancement of technical education and vocational training starting from the Agricultural Machinery Institute. He described their journey as an inspiring success story in the valley and desert of Hadhramaut.

Al-Ameri emphasized that technical education and vocational training are pillars of development, economic prosperity, and community service. He commended the initiative taken by the Technical Education and Vocational Training Ministry’s Office for this recognition.

Mahboub Faraj Aman, the General Director of the Technical Education and Vocational Training Ministry’s Office in Wadi and Desert Hadhramaut, reviewed the projects undertaken during the past period and plans to expand the range of specialties and branches. The goal is to cover the majority of specialties and to bring them closer to all the far-flung directorates of the valley and desert. Aman appreciated the significant support from the local authority and civil society organizations, which have played a crucial role in the sector’s progress and development.

This ceremony not only acknowledges the dedicated service of these retired staff members but also underscores the importance of technical education and vocational training in the region’s development.
