Antalya, Turkey – A New Era for Traditional Sports
Today, the Republic of Yemen, represented by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Ethnosport Federation in Antalya, Turkey. This agreement aims to enhance cooperation and develop traditional sports in Yemen. The signing took place during the 8th Traditional Sports Forum, organized under the auspices of the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Yemen’s Minister of Youth and Sports, Nayef Al-Bakri, signed the MoU on behalf of Yemen. Bilal Rajab Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the International Ethnosport Federation, represented the federation. The event also saw the presence of Yemen’s Ambassador to Turkey, Mohammed Saleh Tareq, and Ayman Al-Makhlafi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports for Financial and Administrative Affairs.
