On Sunday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy announced that two power generation and water desalination stations faced attacks from hostile drones. This incident, attributed to Iranian aggression, resulted in significant material damage and caused two electricity generation units to go offline. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
Ministry spokesperson Fatima Jawhar Hayat provided details in a press release published by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA). She stated that technical teams and emergency response units immediately began their work in accordance with established emergency plans.
