The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that the Democratic Republic of Congo is experiencing a serious outbreak of the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus, with 321 confirmed cases and 116 suspected cases as of the latest update. According to Christian Lindmeier, a spokesperson for the WHO, the outbreak has resulted in 41 fatalities.
