The General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology’s Weather Forecast and Early Warning Center has predicted clear to partly cloudy weather for coastal areas and nearby regions today, Wednesday. Temperatures will remain moderate, with light to moderate winds expected along the eastern coasts. However, winds will be stronger at Bab al-Mandab and the southwestern and western coasts.
The weather report indicates that mountainous areas will experience clear and cold to very cold conditions, particularly in the western and southwestern highlands. The southern highlands will see extremely low temperatures. In contrast, desert and plateau regions will enjoy clear and moderate weather during the day, but temperatures will drop significantly at night, accompanied by moderate winds.

The center has issued a warning to citizens, especially the elderly and children, about the significant drop in temperatures during the night and early morning. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions. Additionally, farmers, livestock owners, and beekeepers should protect their assets from the effects of the cold weather.
In the daily marine report, the center forecasts calm seas along the coasts of Al-Mahra, Hadhramaut, Shabwa, and the Socotra Archipelago. Moderate waves are expected along the coasts of Abyan, Aden, Bab al-Mandab, and the western shores. Meanwhile, the Arabian Sea and Gulf of Aden will see light to moderate waves, while the Red Sea will experience rough conditions.
The center warns sea-goers, fishermen, and ship captains in the southwestern and western coasts, as well as in the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandab, to be cautious of turbulent seas, high waves, and strong winds.
