The number of Palestinian fatalities has surged to 71 due to relentless Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip since dawn today. Among the deceased, 42 individuals were waiting for humanitarian aid, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The airstrikes have struck displaced persons’ tents and residential buildings in various areas, particularly in Khan Younis and the neighborhoods of Zaitoun and Shuja’iyya in eastern Gaza City. Israeli forces have conducted extensive demolition and destruction operations in these regions.
The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate, exacerbated by a severe shortage of medical supplies and a rising number of critical injuries.
In the al-Khadr town south of Bethlehem, several Palestinians suffered from asphyxiation due to Israeli forces firing tear gas canisters during a raid on the town.
Meanwhile, the Old City of Hebron experienced an attack by settlers, heavily protected by Israeli forces. This incident led to the closure of shops and restrictions on the movement of residents.
This escalation occurs despite international calls for a ceasefire, highlighting a serious deterioration in both the humanitarian and security conditions in the Palestinian territories. The situation remains tense as military operations continue unabated.
