A recent report from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) highlights the urgent humanitarian crisis in Yemen. The report indicates that more than 1,228 families have fled from Hadhramaut to Marib due to escalating security issues and unrest in their home region.
According to the report, 1,224 displaced families received immediate assistance after relocating to Marib City and Marib Valley. This aid forms part of the urgent humanitarian interventions aimed at addressing the needs of those affected by the crisis.
The report notes that displacement continues, with updated data tracking movements until December 21, 2025. The majority of displaced families have settled in Marib City, where approximately 1,110 families reside, while around 118 families have found refuge in Marib Valley.
