A training course aimed at improving the skills of airport employees concluded recently at Aden International Airport. This initiative forms part of the Civil Aviation Security Enhancement Program in Yemen, executed by Valar Company.
The five-day course, led by licensed instructor Mohammed Jaafar from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), trained 16 employees responsible for operating security equipment at the airport. Under the supervision of project manager Louay Ishaqat, the training covered critical topics regarding airport security procedures and measures in detail.
The course’s primary goal was to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in civil aviation security. It focused on technical countermeasures designed to prevent unlawful interference with both Yemeni and international civil aviation.
This training represents a significant step toward bolstering aviation security in Yemen. By equipping airport personnel with essential skills, the program aims to create a safer environment for travelers and enhance overall security protocols at Aden International Airport.
