Training Course for Football Coaches Concludes in Hadhramaut

The city of Sayoun in Hadhramaut Governorate recently hosted the conclusion of a training course for football coaches from the Wadi Hadhramaut region. This course, which focused on the C-level coaching certification, was organized by the Yemeni Football Association in collaboration with the Youth and Sports Office.

Course Overview

Over the course of 14 days, 24 participants engaged in both theoretical and practical training sessions. These sessions occurred in the morning and evening, covering essential concepts and skills in sports coaching. The program aimed to enhance the coaching abilities of the attendees, equipping them with valuable knowledge to apply in their respective clubs.

Importance of Training Programs

During the closing ceremony, Amer Al-Amri, the Deputy Governor of Hadhramaut for Wadi and Desert Affairs, emphasized the significance of training and rehabilitation programs. He stated that these initiatives play a crucial role in developing technical staff across various sports. Al-Amri reaffirmed the local authority’s commitment to supporting all sports activities, which contribute to improving athletic standards and nurturing a promising generation of athletes.

Support from Local Authorities

Dr. Majdi Mutran, the Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Wadi Hadhramaut, along with Qirzi Al-Zubairi, the Secretary-General of the Football Association branch, expressed their dedication to supporting training programs. They highlighted the importance of enhancing the skills of both coaches and players. They encouraged participants to implement the knowledge gained during the course to achieve the desired benefits.

Recognition of Contributions

The closing ceremony, attended by Rashid Al-Amri, the Director-General of the Media Office, and several advisors from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, recognized the contributions of various organizations that helped make the course a success. Participants received certificates of participation, and contributing entities were honored with commemorative shields.

This training initiative marks a significant step towards improving football coaching standards in the region, fostering a culture of excellence in sports.
