Governor of Taiz Discusses Issues Pertaining to Martyrs and Wounded

On December 30, 2024, Governor Nabil Shamsan of Taiz convened a meeting with representatives of the wounded, led by Raafat Al-Abidi. The discussion focused on the challenges related to the files of martyrs and the wounded, emphasizing the need to address their conditions and requirements to ensure they receive comprehensive care.

Acknowledging Sacrifices

Governor Shamsan praised the heroic sacrifices of martyrs and the brave wounded who have faced the Houthi militia, which is supported by the Iranian regime. He reaffirmed his commitment to providing full support and alleviating the suffering of this group.

Commitment to Presidential Directives

The governor reiterated the importance of implementing the directives from President Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, the head of the Presidential Leadership Council, and Prime Minister Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak. He stressed the need to address the various issues concerning martyrs and the wounded.

Actions and Initiatives

Shamsan outlined the steps being taken to improve the conditions of martyrs and the wounded. These include facilitating medical treatment for several injured individuals, addressing promotions, financial impacts, and medical needs. He also announced the establishment of a Higher Authority for the Affairs of the Wounded, which will play a significant role in managing the files of martyrs and the wounded. This initiative reflects a national and ethical responsibility to honor their sacrifices, which will remain a source of pride for the people of Taiz.
