Key Projects Unveiled
The new initiatives include the renovation of Haneen Al-Bakri Park, the construction of a Civil Status and Civil Registry building, and the enhancement of the Ahli Aden Stadium’s turf. The total investment for these projects reached 2 billion Yemeni Riyals. The local administration will also complete maintenance on Al-Areesh Street at the intersection with Al-Mershidi Corniche in the Rimi area. Other improvements include paving Block 31 in its second phase, repairing several internal streets, rehabilitating the Martyrs Cemetery, and paving remaining roads in Block 45. The project also includes interlocking pavement for the median strip along the coastal road from Kaltax Roundabout to Al-Brihi Hospital.
Enhancing Public Safety and Infrastructure
In addition to these projects, the local government will supply maintenance materials for street lighting along Jamila Street and Street 90 up to the Ship Roundabout. They will also rehabilitate the median strip from the Martyrs Cemetery to Street 90, install a steel canopy for the Civil Defense Center, and provide and install surveillance cameras at the cemetery.
Commemorating a Historic Anniversary
Governor Ahmed Lamlas emphasized that the launch of these projects coincides with the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution. He noted that collaboration and teamwork have enabled the local authority to manage its revenues effectively and implement a series of service and development projects that benefit the province.
The recent projects in Al-Mansoura signify a commitment to improving local infrastructure and community welfare in Aden. With ongoing support from local authorities, residents can expect enhanced public services and facilities, contributing to the overall development of the region.
