Minister of State Inaugurates Educational and Service Projects in Aden

On October 7, 2024, Ahmed Lamlas, the Minister of State and Governor of Aden, inaugurated several educational and service projects in the Crater District of Aden. These projects represent a significant investment of one billion Yemeni rials, funded locally.

Key Projects Launched

The newly launched initiatives include the rehabilitation of the Immigration and Passports Office, the Crater Kindergarten, the Meteorological Building in Al-Sahariq, and a Maternity Emergency Center. These projects aim to enhance the infrastructure and improve essential services for the local community.

Local Revenue Growth Fuels Development

During the inauguration, Minister Lamlas emphasized the importance of developing local revenue sources. He stated that increased revenue has empowered local authorities to implement projects effectively across the Crater District and beyond. Lamlas highlighted the local government’s commitment to prioritizing projects that serve the city and its residents.

Focus on Community Needs

Dr. Mahmoud Bin Jaradi, the Director General of the Crater District, explained that the primary goal of these projects is to improve infrastructure and provide better services to citizens. He reiterated that these efforts align with the local government’s plan to enhance community welfare.
