Meeting Between Yemeni Parliament Speaker and UK Ambassador

Today, Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani, the Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, met with Abda Sharif, the United Kingdom’s Ambassador to Yemen. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing recent developments in both regional and international contexts.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the current national situation, emphasizing the need to support state institutions. They highlighted the importance of enhancing economic stability and improving essential services for citizens amid ongoing challenges.

Al-Barakani praised the efforts of the Prime Minister and the new government.
