The Second Military Region’s leaders inspected the Al-Rayan Brigade and Military Engineering Division, praising their readiness.

Military Readiness Assessed in Hadramout

On Sunday, Major General Salem Basloom, Chief of Staff of the Second Military Region, conducted field visits to the Al-Riyan Brigade and the Military Engineering Division along the Hadramout coast. These visits aimed to evaluate combat readiness, military coordination, and boost the morale of the troops.

Commendation for Al-Riyan Brigade

During his visit to the Al-Riyan Brigade, Major General Basloom praised the discipline and preparedness of the brigade members. He described them as exemplary models of military commitment. He acknowledged the brigade’s crucial role in maintaining public safety and protecting property during recent events. Basloom emphasized the need for heightened vigilance and teamwork to tackle ongoing challenges.

Strengthening National Loyalty

In his address to the officers and personnel of the brigade, Basloom reiterated that the armed forces serve as the cornerstone for safeguarding national achievements and creating a secure future. He called for enhanced unity and deeper national loyalty to ensure the continued security and stability enjoyed by the region.

Inspection of Military Engineering Division

In a related context, Major General Basloom inspected the operations of the Military Engineering Division. He commended the division’s heroic and professional efforts since the liberation of Hadramout cities from terrorist elements in April 2016. He highlighted the division as a model unit, showcasing leadership and technical skills that have led to significant successes in protecting lives and securing facilities.

Commitment to Duty

Both Brigadier General Khalid Al-Tamimi, Commander of the Al-Riyan Brigade, and Brigadier General Saleh Mahdar, Head of the Military Engineering Division, affirmed their units’ maximum readiness to execute all tasks and directives from the regional leadership. They reiterated their commitment to fulfilling their national duties with efficiency and competence.

This proactive approach by the military leadership underscores the importance of readiness and unity in facing current challenges, ensuring the safety and stability of the Hadramout region.
