Executive Office of Raymah Commends Anti-Corruption Measures

The Executive Office of Raymah Governorate met today under the leadership of Governor Major General Mohammed Al-Houri. During the meeting, the officials praised recent government initiatives aimed at combating corruption. They emphasized the importance of these measures in promoting integrity, transparency, and building public trust in various state institutions.

Governor Highlights Key Anti-Corruption Efforts

Governor Al-Houri described the recent actions taken by the Public Prosecution and the Central Organization for Control and Auditing as pivotal. He stated that these investigations into several corruption cases mark a turning point toward achieving administrative and financial reform. Furthermore, he acknowledged the support of the Presidential Leadership Council for these initiatives, which aim to activate accountability and strengthen the rule of law. This, he noted, will enhance government performance and ensure that public resources serve the citizens effectively.

Recognition of Local Heroes

The governor also recognized the heroic roles played by the people of Raymah in the national struggle against the Houthi insurgency. He asserted that the residents of Raymah have consistently stood at the forefront of defending the revolution and the republic. They remain committed to collaborating with all free Yemenis in this critical battle until they defeat the militias and restore the state from their control.

Addressing Humanitarian Needs

During the meeting, the Executive Office discussed reports concerning the displaced individuals from Raymah. They explored ways to meet their urgent humanitarian needs in coordination with relevant government agencies and humanitarian partners. Additionally, they reviewed the violations committed by the Houthis against the people of Raymah. The officials stressed the necessity of documenting these violations to ensure accountability and justice for the victims at both local and international levels.

The Executive Office of Raymah’s meeting underscores the commitment to anti-corruption measures and the importance of addressing humanitarian needs. These efforts aim to foster a transparent and accountable governance system while supporting the citizens affected by ongoing conflicts.
