On Thursday, Prime Minister Dr. Shaya Mohsen Al-Zandani welcomed Nino Matias, the non-resident Ambassador of Portugal to Yemen, for a farewell meeting as his term comes to an end.
During the meeting, Prime Minister Al-Zandani praised Ambassador Matias for his exceptional efforts throughout his tenure. He highlighted Portugal’s support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the Yemeni government, particularly in alleviating the humanitarian crisis facing the Yemeni people. The Prime Minister wished Ambassador Matias success in his future endeavors.
The discussion also focused on the bilateral relations between Yemen and Portugal.
