Prime Minister Commends Security Campaign Achievements in Lahij

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak praised the joint security campaign in Lahij for its significant accomplishments in combating smuggling and illegal immigration. He highlighted the campaign’s role in enhancing security and stability in the region.

Meeting in Aden

On Monday, Prime Minister bin Mubarak led a meeting in the temporary capital of Aden. The gathering included key figures such as Major General Mahmoud Al-Sobaihi, the Presidential Leadership Council’s advisor on defense and security, Lahij Governor Major General Ahmed Abdullah Turki, and the commander of the joint security campaign, Brigadier General Hamdi Shukri. The attendees evaluated the achievements and measures taken in recent months to combat smuggling and maintain security.

Addressing Local Concerns

The meeting also addressed the conditions of citizens in Lahij. Participants discussed collaborative efforts to enhance security, improve essential services, and elevate educational and healthcare standards. They reviewed the implementation of the action plan agreed upon during the Prime Minister’s recent visit to the province.

Prime Minister bin Mubarak emphasized the importance of monitoring the execution of the action plan.
