Prime Minister Inspects New Government Headquarters Project in Aden

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak visited the site of the new Prime Minister’s office building in Aden, the temporary capital of Yemen. This project receives funding and support from the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen.

Warm Welcome at the Project Site

Upon his arrival, Dr. bin Mubarak was greeted by Engineer Ahmed Midhali, the director of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Aden, along with supervisors and engineers involved in the project. This warm reception highlighted the collaborative effort between Yemeni officials and Saudi representatives.

Progress Update on Construction

During the visit, Dr. bin Mubarak reviewed the ongoing final works to complete the building. Project managers informed him that they expect to finish the construction and final touches within a month. The new headquarters will feature three floors, including meeting rooms, administrative offices, and various facilities. Additionally, the building will come equipped with all necessary furniture and office supplies, which have already arrived in Aden.

Commitment to Infrastructure Improvement

The Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the progress of this significant project, emphasizing its role in enhancing infrastructure and strengthening government institutions. He praised the efforts of all workers and supervisors involved and urged them to complete the project according to specifications within the designated timeframe.

Gratitude for Saudi Support

Dr. bin Mubarak extended his gratitude to the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction in Yemen for executing such vital projects. He acknowledged the generous support from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, highlighting the enduring and strong relationship between the two neighboring countries and their peoples. This collaboration reflects a commitment to stand by the Yemeni people during challenging times.
