Prime Minister Directs Review of Stalled Projects in Abyan Governorate

In a significant move to enhance local development, Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak has ordered a comprehensive review of stalled projects in the service and development sectors of Abyan Governorate. This initiative aims to identify the reasons for project delays, propose solutions, and establish a timeline for their completion.

Comprehensive Report Required

During a meeting on Sunday with Abyan Governor Major General Abu Bakr Hussein, Prime Minister bin Mubarak emphasized the need for a detailed report on these projects. He instructed relevant ministries and local authorities to collaborate closely in gathering necessary information. The goal is to present this report to the government, allowing for the identification of urgent solutions, particularly for projects that directly impact citizens’ daily lives.

Current Situation and Challenges

Prime Minister bin Mubarak received a thorough briefing from Governor Hussein regarding the current conditions in Abyan. The discussion covered various aspects, including security, military, service, and development challenges. The governor also shared proposals for overcoming these issues and outlined the support required from the government to implement urgent solutions for priority matters affecting the community.

Government Commitment to Local Development

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting local authorities in their efforts to serve the community effectively. He highlighted the government’s and the Presidential Leadership Council’s dedication to improving service delivery and development in Abyan, a region that has faced significant neglect in recent years.

This initiative reflects the government’s proactive approach to addressing the needs of Abyan’s residents. By focusing on stalled projects and fostering collaboration between various entities, the government aims to revitalize the local economy and enhance the quality of life for its citizens.
