The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Sha’ay Mohsen Al-Zandani, sent a heartfelt condolence message to the family of the late national figure, Abdulqawi Muhammad Rashad Al-Shaabi. Al-Shaabi passed away after a distinguished career dedicated to national service and advocacy for critical issues facing Yemen.
In his message, Dr. Al-Zandani expressed profound sadness and sincere sympathy to the bereaved family and loved ones of Al-Shaabi. He praised Al-Shaabi’s exemplary national service and recognized him as a prominent symbol in the national movement. Al-Shaabi embodied loyalty to the values of the state, the republic, and independence.
Dr. Al-Zandani emphasized that the passing of Abdulqawi Al-Shaabi represents a significant national loss. He highlighted Al-Shaabi’s pioneering roles during pivotal moments in Yemen’s modern history. Notably, Al-Shaabi served as the first Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs after Yemen’s independence, where he played a crucial role in establishing Yemen’s presence on both regional and international stages.
The Prime Minister prayed for the Almighty to grant the late Abdulqawi Al-Shaabi abundant mercy and forgiveness. He also wished for Al-Shaabi to find eternal peace in paradise and for his family and friends to receive strength and solace during this difficult time.
