The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urges the UN Security Council to halt the genocide and displacement, and protect the two-state solution.

Palestinian Foreign Ministry Condemns Ongoing Violence and Displacement

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry has condemned the ongoing acts of genocide and displacement perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people. This violence continues unabated for the 437th consecutive day. The ministry highlighted the escalation of atrocities, particularly the targeting of shelters in Gaza and the destruction of residential areas, which aim to render the region uninhabitable.

Escalating Violence in the West Bank

In a recent statement, the ministry noted a significant increase in Israeli violations in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem. These violations encompass the demolition of homes and infrastructure, as well as ethnic cleansing efforts that threaten the fabric of Palestinian life across the majority of the West Bank. The ministry specifically pointed to the recent destruction of homes, which coincides with the construction of extensive settlement roads that connect various settlements and further encroach on Palestinian land.

Call for International Action

The Palestinian Foreign Ministry urges the international community to take immediate action. It calls on the United Nations Security Council to intervene, halt the ongoing genocide and displacement, and safeguard the two-state solution. The ministry emphasizes that international support is crucial to protect Palestinian rights and ensure a just resolution to the ongoing conflict.

This article underscores the urgent need for awareness and action regarding the humanitarian crisis in Palestine. The situation demands global attention and intervention to restore peace and protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
