The League welcomed Saudi Arabia’s statement regarding the unilateral military escalation by the Southern Transitional Council in the provinces of Hadhramaut and Al-Mahrah. The statement highlighted the Coalition’s sincere efforts to protect the Yemeni population from the severe consequences of this escalation.
Dr. Al-Issa urged the Southern Transitional Council to respond promptly to Saudi Arabia’s call for unity and brotherhood. He emphasized the need for wisdom and dialogue to resolve all issues, including the just cause of the South. This approach aims to maintain community peace and shield the Yemeni people from the repercussions of dangerous military actions.
